We were back it for an evening trip. The face of Manson Bay produced some nice quality fish, then we finished on the Bar trying for the big one... B2 squids baited with a northern pikeminnow fillet worked fine on the downriggers in Manson Bay. The outrigger rods scored with Silver Horde Kingfisher Lite spoons and Rushin' Salmon Wobblers on the outside. T4 flatfish in Purple Glow and Luminous Chartreuse both produced late on the Bar. The key to fishing Mack Bar is to wait until the sun is below the horizon. The last hour of light is magical there.
