6/2/2010 4:21:00 PMOver the breaklines. Recovering from the spawn. Others are still getting ready to spawn. Same on most all lakes at this time of year with the weather we've been having the past month. Under some of the docks. Over the weeds here and there if the green grass has grown in any given area. Not very much grass has grown, and not too many pads have come up green yet. When the weather stabilizes, the fish will stabilize also.

6/2/2010 4:33:00 PMare u using deep crankbaits or dropshotting. I have tried on the north end dropshotting and slow rolliing a jig where it breaks from 8 to 25ft

6/2/2010 4:38:00 PMShallow cranks and getting smaller fish. Deep cranks. Haven't used dropshot yet this year but plan on it soon. Carolina Rig also. Got 2 fish a couple weeks ago, one at 4lbs 1 oz. The other one was bigger but got off. The guy who owns the dock where the big one was nesting thinks someone took the fish away. Nothing on the nest since. When I hooked the fish I didn't know there was a nest, I was just cranking the side of the dock. After the fish got off I saw some bare rocks. It is a beautifull round volcano crater looking nest. Got a smaller fish off a dock a couple docks away yesterday evening.
