Had a chance to get out to McIntosh this morning. Got there about 6:15; put in and headed for north side of lake. Started out tossing plugs and jerkbait into lilies and dock cover, looking for LMB's, but struck out and wound up drowning some Rainbow Power Bait on a #8 Gamakatsu, with a couple of split shot about 20 inches over the hook. First fish was a keeper, caught some other smaller ones (about 5), and the last was also a keeper. Weather was SUPPOSED to be nice; it was sprinkling when we got there and never really stopped. Air temp was about 51, water was a little warmer (I don't have a temp gauge yet). Off the lake at 9:30; some folks at the dock were catching on Power Bait as well. Good start to a Sunday!!
