5/26/2010 4:29:00 AMIf you're bed fishing the smallies, drop your presentation (tube, lizard, spider grub) on the bed and back away a little, wait for mama to come back, she'll move it guaranteed. There's no mating on a dirty bed, especially something that could be a predator.

5/26/2010 11:05:00 AMlol ya i dont know where snapping came from but they wouldnt take my jig that i threw at them. does that mean they arent agressive enough? i havent tried drop shot yet its still in the works

5/26/2010 3:23:00 PMIf they don't want a jig, maybe it's because it sinks too fast. Try a tube lure with 1/16th oz weight, or a smaller jig. I NEED to try dropshotting more myself. I just got done changing some things around in the boat planning on doing things differently tomorrow/this weekend.

5/27/2010 4:53:00 AMTexas rig or peg a small weight about 6" above a spider grub or lizard if you see the fish sitting on beds. I believe that drop shotting as it was explained to me is more for suspended or cruising fish, not fish sitting on beds.
