Took the wife and daughter to the lake around 3, started catching as soon as we got to our spot. We were looking for smallmouth, daughter struck first, about 2.5 lbs(her new personnel best), then I got mine. a little bigger, the wife finally got into the game, her biggest about the size of my daughters. We cought a bunch more(mostly dinks) throughout the afternoon. Moved to a new location around, 630, started catching perch, rockbass and 1 16" trout. All fish were caught on Dropshot or Senko. All fish C&R'ed. Off the lake around 9. Great day out with the family, fun to see the kid score big, Great weather, great fishing. Sorry about the pic's, forgot the camera, had to use the one on the phone.

Nice job. I have been trying hard to catch my first bass. I have fished in so many different lakes with so many differeny set ups and rigs. Senkos, powerworms, spinnerbaits, jigs, all sorts of plastics, nightcrawlers. Not one bass so far. I should rent a boat at american and try drop shotting the docks.

We started fishing in the south end of the lake. Water depth 2-15 ft. Most fish in the 10ft range. Target the lay downs. Also along the VA. 100 yards either side of their pier. Any Green 4 inch senkos were working the best.
