This was my first time fishing Sixteen. Very nice little lake on a beautiful morning. Calm water measured 57 degrees. I kicked the perimeter in my float tube dragging wolley buggers with trailing nymph droppers just below the surface. A #16 bead-head pheasant-tail brassie was the most effective. I landed and released a half-dozen or more pan-sized 'bows and missed at least a dozen hits. I had the most action in the NE corner of the lake and just out from the launch area as I was finishing up. There were several boats out trolling and all appeared to be doing well.
Happy day to all you mothers! ;)
