Weathered the pouring rain yesterday and caught a 14" bass right off the shore. That made the wet sock, shoes, hands, pants worth it! Now that we know the bass are hitting, we are going to try these new lures from ncg that flash red in the water. They claim to be so effective that they were oulawed in Wyoming. Anyone use one of these yet?

How is 1 bass a 4 rating? Try a 3-4" grub on a 3/8oz jig head from shore, works pretty good for distance and catches multi-species!

8theB8 - caught the one bass, but had about 20 perch, 4 trout, 4 peamouths, 2 pike minnows, and 2 catfish so good fishing day all-in-all. Thanks for the info - will try today.
