Finally got to hit Lake Stevens today to fish for those popular Kokanee. It is definately not easy for someone who doesn't know how to do it. With the great advice of rseas in the past I fished with a silver and gold wedding ring in depths of 10- 20'. I don't have a spedometer so don't know how fast I was going but it was just fast enough to make the spoon turn on the wedding ring. I got 2 fish. One was good size and one was smaller. I got on the lake about 8:30am and fished until about noon. It was great to finally catch those Kokanee on purpose. At the end of the day I met rseas in the parking lot and we talked about gear and swapped some fishing stories. It was nice to meet the man behind the legend. I really appreciated your blog and what you shared helped me catch fish today. Can't wait to see you on the water again. Maybe someday we can hook up and fish Cavanaugh. Good luck to all tite lines.

He mainly confirmed what he wrote in his blog about the koks and I got a closer look at the lures he pictured with it. We talked about depth and speed he was using that day. Also talked about the gadgets on the boats. Ive made some things for my boat and was showing those off.
