I arived 10:30 fished until 1:30 pm. I started on the SW side working my way down to the pads.NO TAKERS! Then I shot across the lake to the SE side letting the hurricane force wind blow me north.I ran into the HAWGHUNTER and we talked awhile.He showed me the pigone he caught when I was getting on the water (6.12 lb).I continued up the lake and would'nt you know it A taker! I tossed a 3/4 oz. booyah green pumkin jig with a yamamoto trailer a couple feet off shore and started working it to the boat. On the third bounce he nailed it. It was a good fight, he stripped line (5.62)!
Lots of weeds,water temp of 60.5. Fishing was slow today,lots of wind!
