4/19/2010 9:36:00 AMBy the time I started yelling he was within 8-10 inches of the front of my boat with his lower unit. It takes less than 5 minutes total for me to launch and I'm by myself. Guess this wasn't fast enough for him. At the end of the day, another bass boater came up and let me know he was amazed at what he saw too. Just letting you know, watch out for this guy!
Anyways,
Went out today since the weather has been nice and wanted to see if things have progressed on this lake. 2nd cast and bam. Got my first fish of the year, a 2lb 9oz LM. Worked some transition areas for awhile and all of a sudden, wham, another bite. Knew she was big as I had to soften my drag up a bit. Finally got her in the boat and weighed out at 4lb 14oz. Personal best and not a bad way to spend the day.
