After I launched, I tied my boat up and got back in my truck to exit the ramp when I immediately got crowded out by some guy in an explorer towing a white/blue open bow boat. Didn't think much of it so I squeezed my trailer by him and parked. As I'm walking down the ramp, he decides it's time to launch so starts backing up while his dad watches everything happen.

By the time I started yelling he was within 8-10 inches of the front of my boat with his lower unit. It takes less than 5 minutes total for me to launch and I'm by myself. Guess this wasn't fast enough for him. At the end of the day, another bass boater came up and let me know he was amazed at what he saw too. Just letting you know, watch out for this guy!

Anyways,
Went out today since the weather has been nice and wanted to see if things have progressed on this lake. 2nd cast and bam. Got my first first fish of the year, a 2lb 9oz LM. Worked some transition areas for awhile and all of a sudden, wham, another bite. Knew she was big as I had to soften my drag up a bit. Finally got her in the boat and weighed out at 4lb 14oz. Personal best and not a bad way to spend the day.

Ryan,
It's good to hear that things are starting to heat up at Liberty. I just moved into the LL area and will be hitting it on a regular basis.
Any water temp reports? You were tossing a crankbait...yes? Color...size....etc?

Thanks for the report!
