Ok so after I left Cassidy Lake(see previous post) I headed south to try Lake stevens. I found one public fishing area that didnt have a group of piknikers taking up the entire dock!@*&6!. The spot I found first made you PAY for parking, Had 40 or more people trying to fish the same spot and the same spot off of the docks. I left and tried to spot anywhere else to fish but had no luck. I guess in this day and age of modern fishing, a man just needs a boat to enjoy a quiet peaceful day of fishing away from people who believe in thier minds that they own the public docks. Sorry folks just trying to be honest here.

I haven't been this year but sometimes around sundown you can have a pretty fun couple hours at sunset beach on lake stevens... just off the dock. its straight across the lake from davies beach where it sounds like you went with all the people

I have no idea what this dude is talking about. I live 5 minutes from Stevens and fish it about 3 to 4 times a week and there hasn't been many people fishing on/around the boat launch docks. Usually 1 or 2 people tops. Calm down and fish buddy.
