Had a couple hours to kill today and I decided to hit up Goodwin.fished from 10-2pm.I caught 2 fish.Both Largies.First one I got skipping a power craw under a dock on a shakey head.It weighed 2 3/4 pounds.The second one I got on a Jig with a "secret" ling cod bait for a trailer.it works really well as a jig trailer.I was swimming it past the inside corner of a dock along the bottom,and she hammered it.She weighed 5.2 pounds.

Don't forget we all need a new fishing license now for 2010 and send in your punch cards.

Seems like they are finally moving up were they deeper docks?. Looks like you fish goodwin a lot what is your biggest largemouth and smallmouth? Nice fish 5.2 is a toad!

I think the largemouth are up a little more than the smallies.I did catch them both off deeper docks.The smaller one was in about 6-7 feet.The big one hit in about 8-10 feet.And this is my biggest Largie from here so far.My biggest smallies is 4 or 5 that were between 5-5.8 lbs.over the last 3 years

those are some good size smallies I have never caught one over 5lbs hope to change that this year...biggest largemouth was 6.2 out of shoecraft about 3 years ago.
