Got to the dock early again today. Had to wait until it got a little light out to fish. Started out with power eggs/bait off the bottom, but got no action off of that. We saw some fish surfacing so I decided to switch to lures, which was a good call. For about 2 hours caught 9 fish on kasmasters and even better was a little vibrax bluefox. Got many more follows and bumps from groups of the planted trout. But two of the fish were brown trout, which was fun for a change.

Was quite cold at first, no wind, frosty dock. Then the sun came out which helped. A few other anglers out. It was a very memorable day.

How large were the trout? Is that the "T" dock by duck island? If so, it is very shallow at the deep end of the dock, is it not?

I like the pink rod & reel. I have three boys & they like it when there are girls fishing. Thanks for the report.

afk, my daughter is thrilled that you like the pole she picked out at the sportsman show. The best part is that when you crank the reel, you get a multicolor LED light show from lights built into the spool housing. Looked real cool this morning in the darkness. And it sure works better than the little Barbie poles. :)

And I forgot to mention that Quad was fishing with us and caught many himself with Kastmasters. It was very nice fishing with you again, Quad!
