Well I finally got a day out on Chelan after this last week of focusing on Rufus Woods, and what a morning it was..

Started trolling the Ace Hi- Fly off the bottom at Rocky Point to find some Laketrout then moved to Minneapolis Beach to find a few more..I think we had 7 lakers in 3 hrs so I proceeded to process fish with all the rods in the water and then BAM.. This Beautiful Lake Chelan Chinook hit and flat tore me up ..What a fish..anyway finished with 8 Lakers and a Chinook for a 4 hr. boat.. Feel free to contact me with questions or comments anytime..Tight Lines to all and good luck..

AWSOME WORK Joe. You have put a record number of the Lake Chelan Chinook in the boat this year. Those alone are amazing, but with your record of boating the Mackinaw too, What a dream Trip you provide. Next spring Cindy and I are going to have to Charter your boat for a trip for the Lake Chelan Kings.
Keep Providing the smiles.

What is the season on chinook in Chelan...thought it was May 1st to May 31st. Have they changed the dates since the pamphlet came out? AWESOME fish by the way! I wish I could catch one that nice in the salt!

Joe! Awesome fish! Lee and I were wondering where you were at Rufus Yesterday. I want to thank you for giving us those lures to try. I did catch a nice 'Bow on the smaller Yozuri you gave us. How did you get the Salmon? Was he deep or closer to the top? Like I said, I'm going to try and get out with you in January for the big Lakers you seem to find so well! Rufus was still slow yesterday between pumps 3 and 5, however, as I found out with my friend the black jig was the way to go as Lee caught 7 on the jig. We did better trolling the Ace Hi-Fly in Pink.

Excellent Fish Joe!!
