Thanks for the report, I'm was thinking about hitting it up this weekend with the fly rod. How are the crowds?

Was the lake stocked recently? WDFW schedule says April. How big were the fish?

Ah, I see from the Oct 23 report (http://wdfw.wa.gov/fish/plants/weekly/) that 1,008 Rainbows (2.5 pounders!) were planted on Oct 20. I should've gone earlier this week instead getting skunked at Pine Lake nearby! Argh! Will try to make it this weekend.

Little Trib, I don't know if you've been out yet, the crowds had been very lite, however with people posting reports this week i'm sure that will change. When a lake gets stocked with only 1000 fish I would rather keep a little tight lipped about it. Let the circus begin.

@smashmouth, I don't see anything wrong w/ sharing info that's public, which anyone can find. It's not like a secret fishing hole. I just wish that I had seen Mad Dog's report sooner. Yes, this weekend will probably be a zoo over there, which is why I'm gonna squeeze in a couple of hours fishing there this afternoon.

Nothing wrong with sharing, although it was pretty nice out there last week with almost no one else on the lake. It was way more pleasant then last year when someone stole my wading boots from the boat launch when i left them there for 5 minutes. Also there were guys dropping the F bomb as loud as they could every time they hooked a fish, as well as guys anchoring up within 10 feet of our boat after they saw us catch a couple of fish. I guess all 3000 of them were under our boat. Fishing has remained good for almost two weeks because there wasn't alot of talk about the first 1000 fish.

Got to the lake with my son around 4PM today and fished from the shore for 90 minutes. No bites, but saw others land 2 nice looking 14" rainbows. There were 7 other anglers there. Saw only 1 boat. I plan on going tomorrow early morning with my float tube and fish finder.

@smashmouth, sorry to hear about you lousy experience with a$$holes, but they can't help it cuz well, they're a$$holes. Not sure where they get wind of trout plants cuz they're probably too stupid to check this website, so I doubt this report would prompt any of them to show up.
