Rufus Woods was outstanding fishing on Saturday 24th..Started trolling my Beaded Wooley Buggers on the surface at and next to the "Can Line" in the lower Basin and had a few strikes but not what I liked so we motored to Pump 5 and fished the coves and shorlines with spoons and roosters to get into the best bite that I have had since last Fall..

The Kastmaster spoon in green worked well and the super Rooster also worked..I think that most any spoon or spinner would have worked..these fish were on the bite..I lost count on numbers...Cast your presentation to shore and get it moving right away over the weed beds and as soon as the weed clear let you spoon fall and then retrieve and stop..Most fish hit it on the drop..

Ended the day with limits and the last fish tipped the scale at 8lbs 2 oz. Tight Lines to all..Feel free to call anytime for questions or comments..

Joe, Thanks for the report! That's awesome good news! I am excited to get out there with you again this fall and catch some fish!
Are the regulations the same? Fishing lures and flies - 2 fish maximum per person, if using bait - first two fish caught regardless of size ?

I'll call you soon and we'll get a Chelan laker and Rufus trip together. I want to catch Walter!!
