The bass bite is explosive right now. Worked some areas on the very southern end of the lake
using a white spinnerbait with a medium fast retrieve.Hooked a few half pounders. Then tried
a few jigs around the thicker lillypads but not a single bite. Then motored around the island
and got a few more half and 1 pounders on the spinnerbait. Motored to the northend(I call this
the northern debris field...loaded with friendly logs and stumps...use caution in here)
Caught a few more dinks... Then pulled the boat up to Erickson's dock to bs for a few...
Made a cast from the dock and hooked a nice lmb(weight unknown) then caught a few more dinks and not much later...hooked another good sized lmb. All fish released.
Water temps ranged from 58-62

The bite was great the entire time but the evening but was excellent.
