Fished Cassidy this morning from 5:30am to 9am. The best bite time was between 5:45 and 7:45. I got 5 largemouths in the boat, and lost (boat side release :) what looked to be about a 4LB bass. Most fish were around 2 pounds, with one dink. Caught most fish around the reeds/pads, and one of the larger fish came from under a dock. I was slow working a black, then yellow, plastic worm. The bigger the bass, the softer they hit today. Had to remind myself to SLOW DOWN. I also got 4 perch today, and 1 was real nice! I fish with the hooks exposed and every so often get hits from perch and crappie (but no crappie today). But the best part of the day was seeing a 3LB bass jump 3 feet into the air to nab a dragonfly from the air. I have never seen a bass jump that high. Wish they made a lure that could hover over the water like one of those dragonflies. Wow...it got real hot very quickly this morning...home by 10AM to go swimming.

I would buy a 'flying dragonfly" perhaps fly fishing for bass using a RC helicopter - Thanks for the report(s)
