Started off the evening trying to get used to using a senko and drop shotting a plastic power bait worm. A largemouth about 10-12 inches got off. Almost got him to the boat but didnt set the hook because I thought i was snagged in the weed....(forgot i was using a weedless lure). Didnt get any big hit the rest of the day only little ones which turned out to be some decent size rock bass. Ended up trolling because it was getting to dark to watch my line on my senko. I always get more rock bass then anything when trolling. I did get a few hits on my drop shot but I was using a pretty big worm like 7" so it probably wasnt a largemouth. I ended up getting off the lake because the darn wind was blowing my raft this way and that way. I will be back to master my drop shot and my senko! Before I found out about this site I did catch a couple largemouths on different days bottom fishing with worms. first was like 2lbs and the other about 1.5lbs and i have seen some 4-5 lbs around the lillys in about 2 feet of water but they didnt hit anything i got out in front of them.

Thanks for the report. Please keep reporting on this lake if you would,, I live just a few minutes away and fish it all the time, I appreciate hearing reports from people bassing it more so than the folks on shore fishing for trout.

I will keep reporting. I Think this lake has a lot of potential for bass because there is no public access. Its just hard to find them. I have caught a few dink lmb on spinners on both sides of the lake.
