I drove by Bitter lake once before and decided to put my float tube in @ about 7pm. I started trolling several different lures around the lake for trout with no luck. Then I started throwing my spinnerbait along the lilly pads and docks and landed 5 small LMB. Seemed like I got a hit every other cast but they must have been too small to grab the hook. I tried fishing some plastics deeper going for bigger fish but got nothing.

It was a fun evening on the water, but Im still trying to track down some bigger bass. I have been out on Sammamish and Sawyer within the last two weeks with no luck in the bass department.

If anyone knows where to track down some decent sized fish this time of year, I would appreciate the input.?

Thanks for reading.

90% of the bass in Bitter are Rock Bass.. there are LMB in there, but not nearly as many as the rock bass. Go check out Lake Serene, Haller lake (right near bitter, 125th...3 blocks East of Aurora.. Cottage lake, Martha lake.)
