Tried hittin the perch for the first time this year. This spot just wasn't producing like it has in the past. I took my dad and 5 and 6 year old out, they usually have a blast. They still had fun but the fish were harder to hook, not as big and not as thick of schools as I have found in the past. We near Prichard park (I think that's what it's called). Did best at exactly 19-22 ft. Took home 27 that ranged from 71/2 - 9 inches. Normally I would have 30-50 8 1/2-12 inchers in less than an hour. Perhaps I need to wait for later this summer or hold out for the late fall. I also found 4 persh that had red bumps on them with their scales being flakey, that was concerning. I will take pictures next, this time it was too disapointing!
