Tried Mineral for the first time to see if I could hook a BIG one. Caught rainbows 1.5 to 2 lbs. The fish up here are scrappy fighters! Multiple bites, only landed 5 but one was my first German brown around 1.5 lbs. I didn't realize they have pointy teeth, even on their tongue! 3 foot leader with an air blown nightcrawler off bottom, one on worm suspended under bobber, and Power bait/eggs not working at all! (various colors) Anyone know where I can get a topo to find points in this lake? Metered 35+ feet in some areas and wondering what shoreline contour is like, my goal before end of season is to get that 10 lber. I know they're here because I hooked something with shoulders that popped my Owner hook after retying which is not easy!

There is a topo of Mineral in this website. The maps are not spot on, but they are really close.

I dunno about any 10lbs but i have seen 7+ pounders out of there...sometimes u can see em cruising in the shallows near the mountain side...last time i was out there a little girl caught a 6.5 pounder on her kiddie pole hahaha
