Still trying to unlock the secret to this lake. We hit it kind of late, about 12:30. My freind and I heard that plastic worms were the way to go, so that's the way we went. We hit the under cuts right off the boat launch and just like that I hooked into a bass. He jumped out of the water, shook his head a few times and promptly spit it right back out at me. We figured we were on to them, though and kept at it. That was it for about 3 hours. Nothing else. We worked around the lake clockwise from the launch (if you were facing it from the water) and got nothing until the rocks by the narrow part of the lake. I hooked a bass and landed it- the only one of the day. We got some bites by the island, but that was it. We bailed on the lake, went to a nearby hot spot and bagged 4 each, all in the 2-3 lb. range. Can't figure Fan out...

Yeah, its pretty good for crappie if you get into a school of them. We have been using buzz baits when it starts to get late, and we have had some luck with that. Nothing much bigger than 1.5 lbs as far as bass go. Its a gorgeous lake, and you can cover the whole thing in 3 hours which is great.
