First thing i would like to say sorry i didnt have a cam. with me. but we got out there kinda late it was round 925 once we hit the water. My 2 friends and I started trolling (usually thats what we found best a this lake) that didnt work out so well. it was very windy and slight rain was on the way, so to get out of the wind we decided to go into the many dif. coves round the lake. right off the bat smacked a nice 18" tiger, then a12" rainbow. and back to nada. well we kept rotating round the cove and ever time we stopped we cought anouther 2 fish. We ended up playing this little game for bout 3 hrs. Then the crappy stuff started... as we were stringing a decent rainbow one of the tigers that we had (the seccond biggest of the day) ripped the stringer out of its mouth and swam away. well from my shoulders up were soaked and my bro. was the same way needless to say he got away. then in the same spot as i was pulling up the anchor my glasses.. well lets just say that now there a nice fish down there who just became the new owner of some polorized sun glasses... at the end of the day i had 4 my bro had 3 and our friend arron had3. so not a bad day at all..... unless you count the ones that got away. but every fisherman has those stories.

Sounds like a day of fishing you will not forget soon, and I say this from experience. I was fishing the John Day River and landed a big Steelhead, I leaned over the side of the boat, and my prized polarized prescription sunglasses slid out of my shirt pocket and into the river, never to be found, damm those shirt pockets with no flaps. Are these Tiger Trout something new they are planting in the lakes?

through all my research they have been planting them for about 3-4 years in sporadic lakes around here first the smaller ones just to see how they did then venturing out towards the bigger more fished lakes... they do fight a bit more and most of what i've discovered is they don't typically bite on tolling and they love worms and other fish. have fun fishen and good luck.

I think your recap of that day is a lil off, i believe i caught the biggest, and the smallest lol.
