Borrowed a buddy's boat (thanks sticknhook) and took off from the launch at Shore Acres around 10:30am. Dropped a red Wedding Ring, tipped with worm, behind my Jack Lloyd's, let out about 50 pulls, and took off east at slow speed toward the point across from the landing. Within 5 minutes I had a nice 13 inch silver in the boat. I let back out and continued my line toward the point. After reaching the point, I turned back toward the launch. I continued along off the west shore line about 50 yards out. On my return trip along the west shore, I pulled in a small Blue Gill which was released after having its picture taken. Noticing some feeding action on the surface, I switched to trolling a black and silver Rapala in the area I got my 1st. With no takers in an hour, I changed to my chartreuce Rapala. I got a couple of quick strikes, but nothing that wanted to hook up. While not much to take home, I at least have a tasty appetizer tonight.
