Well finally I caught my first Walleye of any size, not one but 2 within 5 minutes of each other. They were 2 lbs each and measured app. 21 inches. In addition we nailed 3 large small mouth bass. For the walleye we were bottom bouncing with Wally Pops and a worm trailer. They really hit hard.
Caught the walleye in the Lind Coulie area of Potholes. We tried to get to Crab Creek but there was just to much wind. The weather was blustery most of Saturday. I would like to thank the people at Mardon for good direction and good tackle.
The lake is still very high but yet very fishable. We had a great weekend and I would say that the fishing there is GOOD, just have to work around the weather cells.
