Well decided to go to American after work. Grabed the dog and actually got my wife to go for the first time. Started off in the north end of the lake and kept catching the little rock bass left and right. That was good because I think it prepard my wife for what was going to happen. She thinks it is mean that I poke the fish with hooks. LOL Anyway shot across the lake to the the Tillicum side and it was on. Ended catching 4 for a total weight of 17 lbs 6 oz. This was the biggest that weighed in at 4Lbs 10 oz. My wife worked up the courage to net the fish for me and I think she got over her feeling of being mean to the fish. Had to throw the picture of the dog because he got bored so we bailed. Good day of fishing and not to many water skiers out either. Water temp was 69 to 71. Caught everything on a drop shot in 5 feet or less of water. Three of them came from under the same dock on three straight cast. All fish were released and swam away.

Nice SM fatty! Water too warm for trout on top but great now for the spinies! Just repaired my 5'6" UL Lamiglass with new reel and it needs de-virginizing again, haha! Pink and silver, huh? Think I'll try salt n pepper or motor oil/red flake grub today. Thanks for the inspirational photo, anything over 3 lbs. and I'll be happy! Watch out Micropterus Dolomieu, THIS guy is on the prowl again with a new baby stick...
