One technique that works for me on Medical this time of year is fishing a chironomid pattern deep, within a foot or two of the bottom. Hatch dependent, of course, but when it's working nothing will beat it for sheer numbers and activity.

6/1/2009 5:28:00 PMYep! about the same action I had a day earlier. I did get a couple on a dry fly. I saw the same blips at 10 to 12' and the ones at 20+.
I think we all need to go the Medical with Raff next time!! he seems to have this lake "dialed in". I have had a couple of good days there (15+ fish) however I've also had some of the toughest days I've had on any lake anywhere there as well.
