Wow! Today was a banner day. Haller lake is 5 minutes from the house, so I got up at 5:00 am and put the float tube in. Within a few minutes I hooked my first dink LMB. Then I got 4 more, all these were def. dink size. I fished a 5" Senko, T-rigged. I was throwing at docks and around the lillies. Then at one point I threw one into the lilly pad field itself. Since the sun was barely up, and not much glare I could see my line fall onto the surface when the senko hit. Suddenly the line took off and it was Fish on! Up untl now my largest bass was only about 2 lbs and some change. I got this fish to the float tube and it measured 19" and seemed fat as can be. I could have put an orange in it's mouth.Unfortunately my scale had a dead battery, and the pic. on my phone I can't seem to get sent to my computer! I estimated it at 4lbs. Not the biggest for sure, but for me it was a great day!
