Well got to the lake around 6:45pm fished til 8:30 had multiple bites but they were very small short bites. Buddy did manage to hook 1 and bring it in was probably 13-14" rainbow he gave it to a couple guys sittin next to us. We threw a few different things at em worms, marshmallows, green, yellow, white, and fl. orange glitter power bait. We got all the bites and the lone fish of the night, including probably 12 people fishing that I could see from where we were sitting on the Fl. orange glitter powerbait. Good luck out there.

Quick side note if you go at night as we did bring the bug spray they were pretty bad tonight.

Sounds like a timing thing. On many occasions over several years, I've caught most of my W. Medical fish between 10:00 - 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00. West Medical has some heavy daytime chironomid and damsel hatches and I'm convinced that the trout are often times "fed out" by 6:00 or so. Additionally, when fish are keyed in on a natural food source, it's often hard to get them on bait and hardware.
