I had so much fun fishing from the dock at the resort Thursday, I brought my son-in-law and grandson this time. Got there a little before 7:00 and started catching fish right away. I should say my 8 year old grandson was catching them. After an hour or so, the dock really started filling up. Of course things slowed down quite a bit with all the lines in the water. Finally after 12:00 my son-in-law caught his first so we were able to leave. The three of us got 10, all planters but 1 that must have been a holdover. Saw 1 about 2 pounds caught on the dock and a couple more that size caught from a boat stillfishing. I have to say that the planters in this lake seem to be larger than the ones I've seen caught at Angle, Steel, or Meridian. These were 9 or 10 inches.

The 3 day weekend really drew people out. The resort was packed with campers, RVers and all. If it weren't for the 120 mile round trip to get there, I'ld be a regular. They have a nice large dock, clean facilities, boat rentals and camping. Plus, the folks are nice, too.
