Great day on Lone lake! My buddy from work and I met up for a little fishering (Ha). Trolled and got several in the boat; 3 'bows near 17", a 15 incher and three around a foot long. Released all the smaller ones we got in. I just wonder how big the one that snapped my line was...
Talking with another angler, he was pulling some nice bass out near the shore. There were near a half a dozen other anglers out and all seemed to have a little action on thier poles. Was just nice to be able to get out on a lake and have some decent success. Had a little breeze from time to time, but not too bad. Weeds are not bad yet, I know that won't be the case in another month or so.
Just figured I'd add a few comments about this nice lake. Would have posted a few pic's, but the quality of the ones I took were not that great. All in all was a very enjoyable outing for us.

Glad to hear that you had a nice day on the lake. However it appears that you may not be fully aware of the regulations on Lone Lake which is limit one fish (min. size 18"), selective gear only. It sounds like you and your buddy kept four fish between 15" and 17" which puts you over the limit and w/ under-sized fish. Later.

You know, I really love when people don't follow the regs, especially on a trophy lake that has pretty good size fish. Good Job Marty dumb ass..............

Was wondering if the bass anglers were using selective gear?
