How did it go? havent fished this lake this year as i am rebuilding my old smallwater boat, a 15' 66 glaspar? G-3, been using it with a minn Kota 65, and a 3.3 merc for the last 25 years or so, and the transome and floor were rotted out! about 1/2 way done with it and I can't remove the new 50hp from the 17' smokercraft so no " internal combustion motors prohibited " lakes for me untill the stealth trout/bass boat is refurbished!, Have enjoyed this lake for many years, Catch and Release is the way I fish 99% of the time, Oh I will keep a couple of nice hatchery Steelies, and some Salmon each year, but the wife gets tired of trout after the first dozen or so each spring, so by end of april only trophy fish or bleeding fish are keepers for me. My son loves to top water bass, so small lakes are his favorites ( ie ) Martha, Loma, Armstrong, Crabapple, Howard, and of course Cassidy and Rosinger ( mid lake ), Flowing is also a good topwater bet early or late! Long live the mini whacker!
