we got to the lake at just after noon. There were several boats leaving already with the answer being a few fish caught. the water temperature fluctuated between 67 and 70 degrees. There was alot of chop on the water from the waterski/ tubers.
One rotation around the lake resulted in nothing, not even a bite on a wooly bugger. We tried bait fishing in the south end for an hour or so with the same results. Trolled up the east side of the lake and managed to catch a nice 2 lb. tripp with a flasher/ Koke-a-nut set up. sort of a soft berry looking thing with a tinsel skirt hiding 2 chrome hooks, on which I attatched a fat juicy worm. Had a couple other bites in the same bay (just north of the eastern island with a house on it) but nothing in the boat. still ended up a fun day on the water and we did manage to travel the whole lake shore so we have been everywhere on that lake. For us, the south half is the only area where things get caught.
Good luck out there everyone.
