I told my girlfriend "Joey" about my fishing trip to Lk. Ki last week so of course she insisted (really, she did!) that I take her there too so we set out after work and got on the lake around 7:00 p.m. I was fortunate enough to catch the first fish after about 3 minutes and win the $5.00 first fish bet, but that was about all that I can boast about this week cuz then Joey proceeded to "put it to me" over the next hour (actually only about 50 minutes). Ouch! I haven't been spanked that bad at fishing in a very very long time! It still hurts to sit down! In that hour we put our two five fish limits in the boat and of the 10 fish that we caught, I only managed to catch two of them. Then to add insult to injury I had to clean them all when we got back to my apartment! All of this weeks fish were again caught on orange power bait and there were no really big ones like last week but her biggest one was a respectable 14 incher! My real joy was in seeing how much fun she was having catching all those fish. It mad this trip all the more worthwhile.
