Fished Curl lake for 2 hours, in the afternoon very windy 30 to 40 mile an hour. Lots of fun to cast your lures. I hooked up with 6 fish on 6 cast, caught and released many dozen of trout. We always pinch the barbs it makes for easy release. We fished curl, rainbow and blue all reports the same.We kept enough fish for dinner, we tent camped near rainbow lake. These lakes are a lot of fun to fish.I tried 15 different lures and caught fish on all them some better than others. The lakes have fresh water snails which the trout were eating. Great tasting fish over a fire. I knew the wind mph. becauce when I was driving on Patit creek rd. at 40 mph the shadows of the clouds on the road were going faster then us.Take the kids its a great bank fishery.
