Cindy a nd I Launched from public launch at lower end of lake around 11:30, and fished in front of the Red Roofed Condos (chelan Shores) until around 3:30. Water was choppy when we arrived, and increased to whitecaps before we left. Boated a limit of Kokanee each, had several hits, lost some on the retreive, and a few at the boat. Size was running 13-14 inches, but we had one spot that only produced 8-9 inch fish, so we didn't hit it but a couple of times. I used a classic red wedding ring behind Flash-lites, and tipped the hook with half a Berkley yellow honey worm and one or two nuggets of white crappie nibbles. Wife used same type set-up except green wedding ring. All but a few of our fish came from within 6 feet or less of the bottom in 25-60 feet of water. Best speed seemed to be 1.5 to 1.9 MPH. The fish seemed to be hitting lightly today, sometimes hard to determine if it was a bite or not. Beautiful skies, and just a great day to be on the water. Tight lines and be safe out there.
PS
I have tried to mark the spot using the Hotspot feature. Click the "Satellite" tab, then you can see the red roofed condos.

Loui. Your Southern, gentlemanly style speaks volumes about you as a fisherman. You spending time with your wife, and fishing together no less, seems to be a forgotten Art form these days. I left you an e-mail about coming up your way and soaking up the beauty and tossing a line in the "Beautiful Blue Chelan Valley." A Great report sir, and I think that you will get a kick out of my Fiancee Pamela's reaction to that scrumptious smoked fish that you gave me. Looking forward to seeing you again, Sincerely, The Jigmiester.

Hey Aaron, & Mike, the Hotspots feature is great. This is the first time I've used it, but can see the benifits. I've had people asking where to fish, and I was having a hard time with my explanations, but with the hotspots feature, I can be more specific. For folks driving from distant cities, and first time to the area, it could be a mega source of info. Thanks again for all you guys do.
Hi ya Jigmiester. I feel fortunate to live in the "Beautiful Blue Chelan Valley." Great fishing opertunities, buetiful scenery, and small town charm. Lake chelan is a welth of oportunity, with its varied spieces of fish, and Cindy and I just love to chase the lil Silvers. Some days the lil buggers try to jump in the boat with you and others you have to work for them, but that is why it's called fishing.
