Last year I caught several nice holdovers & a few cutthroats. You won't catch as many, but you'll catch bigger fish. This lake is LOADED with underwater structure. Lots of cover for the fish, but you'll lose some gear. Last spring I lost at least 4 dozen jigs. Best patterns were mostly white + red. If you're not careful, you might even run into a largemouth bass...

I will try for the bigger ones, I normally fish salmon and steelhead but gotta keep casting to practice for the battle holes. thanks for the info, im working on my 14ft olympian today getting the transom rebuilt see if that dont work better than the pontoon.
