Went fishing Storm lake today, seems like it is doing well. Bankys beware this is not the lake for you. Had one person with us stuck on the bank, he just wasted rigs. Also as no gas motors are allowed at this lake a pontoon or dingy with a minnkota is your best option. I will fish this lake again that is all I'm sayin. ;) ps. Flowing sucks, went there for the afternoon only got a sunburn, no visible sign of fish......again.

Was it hard to find parking? If you get tired of catching stockers, switch to a 1/16 oz marabou jig and fish a little deeper. Last year I caught several nice holdovers & a few cutthroats. You won't catch as many, but you'll catch bigger fish. This lake is LOADED with underwater structure. Lots of cover for the fish, but you'll lose some gear. Last spring I lost at least 4 dozen jigs. Best patterns were mostly white + red. If you're not careful, you might even run into a largemouth bass...

Wasn't hard to park my 98 TJ but that goes anywhere. I will try for the bigger ones, I normally fish salmon and steelhead but gotta keep casting to practice for the battle holes. thanks for the info, im working on my 14ft olympian today getting the transom rebuilt see if that dont work better than the pontoon.
