I decided to go out and buy some lures and try them out. I chose Boren Lake to check it out for the first time. There were a few anglers on the main dock when I got there around 7PM. Just about everyone was bobber fishing with power eggs or worms. Only one fish was caught when I was there from a bobber fisherman. A few people were also using kastmasters. I tried out a firetiger blue fox vibrax spinner and a orange kastmaster. I didn't get any bites. The fish police came down to the docks to check for licenses. It was the first time I have been checked. They caught two people w/o licenses but those people took off after the officers told them to wait in the parking lot. I was reading the old reports for this lake and I think the asian two pole fisherman was back. He was bottom fishing and top fishing at the same time. I left the lake at 830 happy because the two pole guy didnt catch any fish.

Yeah, that's the two-poler. One rod bobber fishing, and the other rod bottom fishing.
Last year, there was another fellow across the lake on the Coal Creek dock. He was two-rodding with a pair of white rods. Was there all the time.
Glad to see the fish cops there. Maybe they're reading all my complaints on this board about the two rodders. LOL

He must of reeled in his two poles when the officers were checking for licenses. The two pole dude waited till the fish cops were gone before he was two poling again. He kept quite to himself except to ask a few questions about squiding with another angler. Im pretty sure he knows english so he should know the rules. At least we know he has a license.
