My Son and I figured on giving Tanwax a tryout mainly because of the weather. We started out about 9AM trolling with various flashers and worm, weddingring, etc. After 2 passes around the lake with only one c&r and one other hit we decided to try what has been tried and true for us at other lakes. I have always been a devout fan of trolling until this year. My Son has taught me the art of still fishing. We ankored in about 18 feet of water near the inlet. He topfished and I went for the bottom. Within 20 minutes he recorded 2 in the 11 to 12 inch range and I had zero. I then went to the top, Bobber and worm with power corn and caught 3 in the same class within a hour. One Youngster in another boat nearby caught a hog which we never saw but the whole lake heard the yelling. Really Cool. We limited out for the day but most importantly we had a father son fantastic day reminessing of times past. This will be a day long remembered.
Keep your lines tight:)
