FishinFreak and I hit the lake late in the afternoon starting around 5:00pm. The water was clear as a bell. We traversed the entire lake and saw a couple swimming around but none that wanted any part of us. Threw out the entire tackle box to them with no luck. It was a good experience to be able to see the lures action within the water and allowed me to test and tune some of my techniques but that all said would have rather caught a fish ... LOL. I read peter.kim's reports but still it seems the compass got turned around in my head when I messed up on east and west. Just too excited about being on the water it seemed. I think if we would have hit east first and finished up on the west we may have had a different experience instead of the opposite way around that we did tonight. Want to try it out again even though have been skunked twice out there this year.
