I thought I would get the pulse on Rufus. Like previous reports said it is slow due to cold weather. We got a little bit going when the weather was sunny and mild. When the next front pushed in, it shut down pretty hard. We caught trolling J-7 Jointed Rapala's that were black on top and silver on the bottom. We also caught fish casting 1/4 ounce Roostertails at the shoreline. The yellow with red spots and a brass blade worked the best. Overall, it was tough. Best location for us was near pump station #3. Watch out for floating debris as the runoff comes on hard.

Hey AntonJ, Thanks! Good looking fish & Great report. I like fishing the North shore (shallows) around well #3 this time of year. We did really well last time we went up casting a fly rod to the shore using black wooly buggers and a pellet fly.
