Trolled Moses Lake with no luck today for walleye along Connelly park, the spillways and around Gailey Island with one fish on that got away. Used a botton bouncer with blade baits and walleye poppers and worm with no real luck at all. Water temp is cool and all the fish seem to be around the Fill, I did not try this location as it can get congested this time of year. This was the first time out for me in my boat that I just converted into a fishing rig. The Craigslist find 7.5hp 4 stroke trolling motor worked out excellent in these waters as the wind created havoc in the afternoon. With the help of my good friends Doug and Dan, we had a good outing and will be out more often as is starts to heat up, maybe in mid May. Yes, this was an early start, but it the only way to learn your boat and the Lake itself .
