3/29/2009 7:27:00 PMI'm glad the weather turned out nice for you today. Too bad no fish, but very cool you got to see the eagles and turtles. Some days even when I catch fish, it's the wildlife around me I remember more than what I caught that day.

Always fun to read your reports from our old childhood stomping grounds. You are a brave man fishing in a tube in that cold water. Die Hard fishermen! Gotta love it! :) I got a call last night from my buddy who I have talked about before on this site who is a local guide. He took me out last year sturgeon fishing and I caught the 90 pounder I wrote about. So at 11:00 this morning I will be out there for some hopefully hot sturgeon fishing. It's a “test run” for my friend which he does often so he can put his paying clients on the fish, so it should be fun. Like I said, last year's test run yielded me a 90 pound fight of my life. Anyway Chris, I will post a report this afternoon, hopefully with pics of a few keeper sturgeon. Take care.
