Took my son fishing for about 2 hours (3-5). fished from the long dock in the main park. My pole was a worm full of air from the bottom (1-2 ft leader). I had my son set up with a float and worm hanging down about 10 ft. The bobber set up got 3 hits that i noticed. i reeled my pole in and had it just off the bottom right below the dock while i put a fresh worm on my sons pole. I noticed out of the corner of my eye my pole just go crazy! bouncing like mad! I grab my pole and made sure the hooks set. I reeled a little and handed my fishing pole to my son. he tried to reel it in but got kinda confused of the direction to spin the reel :) (he's six and was a little excited). got the fish up and the thing was about 18 inches and around 1-2 lbs. My son couldn't stop playing with the fish! I was surprised to catch anything, especially because we barely fished 2 hours.
