Did trips to RW Thursday and Saturday. Thursday typical day with fish cooperating well. Fished at the lower most Pen area, limit taken home. Brown plastic squid with metalflake, and Black and yellow woolie bugger type Jig used to procure strikes. Saturday, slow for us. Low water and more current than usual. Started in cabin hole and nary a bite. Watched three other boats fishing here and zip in their boats also. Went uplake to the pens, fishing slower than normal, but was able to entice some strikes. Several boats in the area, but most boats were slow also. Water temps below 40 degrees.
WDFG & Tribal Agents working the water on Friday, and the WDFG agents spent quite abit of time checking boats. Having them in the area cut down on the "unethical" fishing practices I think. Met several WL members while on RW. Look forward to meeting more of you out there. This is a Great group of fisher-people. Keep up the good work Y'all.
