Another great day at Rainy! Normally I shore fish this easily accessed but lightly pressured alpine lake but I finally bought a float tube this year and enjoyed it even more. The cutts were very cooperative and I caught a couple of very respectable fish among the couple dozen I C&Rrd including one that was just shy of 15in. These fish are so lightly pressured that if you sit still a few minutes they will cruise right past your feet and follow your offering all the way to the rod tip. I primarily used spinners but also employed a dark green power nymph that worked quite well. My buddy did most of his damage on a bubble/fly combo. There was a hatch for a while that I believe made the fish just a little more aggressive that usual. Please treat this amazing place with the respect it deserves-
