I fished from about 10:30 am to about 3:30 pm. I found a couple smallies near driftwood point running a firetiger jointed shad-rap at 25 to 30 feet. Didn't see another fisherman, just a couple folks out walking scooby. I don't know a lot about this lake, but the quality of these fish will keep me coming back. Lots of sudden bottom contour changes and mid-lake bottom structure kept my interest up through a couple light rain showers. I want to try drop-shotting next time out . This is a new technique for me. Any advice will be appreciated. Please be patient if you wait for a reply from me. I kind of come and go from this site.....

Are you a Tiger sturgeongenerall?
I'm hitting Tapps with Kevinb Saturday. Tiger hunting in November!! Sahweet. Its pretty cool now you can see the stumps and downed trees and such. Remember those signs for March,April isnt that far off. So when the lake fills up again you can use those points in the spring. As you can have some pretty good days out there.
