Got out of college and headed straight to Lake Washington at the Magnuson Park boat docks. Found some crawdad claws on the dock and broke them open for the meat inside. Fished the bottom from all three docks, also ran a chartreuse wedding ring along the docks, but got no bites and saw no action anywhere on the lake. Very cold. My first time fishing on Lake Washington, I want to try Madison Park on the other side of I90 later this week. I'm looking for a perch fishing hole.

The perch have moved in to deeper water because the water is cooling off very rapidly. You probably won't have much luck off of the docks at magnuson because in that area of the park the water stays shallow out very far from shore. If you go further north in the park there is a much steeper dropoff in to almost 50' only a few yards off shore. You might have better luck just casting off the shore up there. North of the swim beach is where the dropoff happens. Try power bait or mallows with salmon eggs or crawlers off the bottom and you might pick up some bows in that area too.
